Yellow flowers as far as the eyes can see,
Mountains from afar, and blue skies above,
And He smiles at me.
Like children playing in the fields,
I see them running and chasing the dogs,
Laughter rings, and He smiles at me.
Does the endless golden hue of sunlight fade?
Do pearly gates of Heaven close?
I wonder, I wonder, and He smiles at me.
When evening shadows threaten to engulf me,
When silence fills the deepest longings of my soul,
I stop and pray, and He smiles at me.
Eternity is on our hearts, when Jesus dwells, When Jesus dwells,
His joy radiates through me,
And He smiles at me.

Indeed in many occasions, God never ceases to delight in us and smile at us. One day a father and a son were in a field when rain started to drizzle. The father said, “Oh, this is God smiling at us. The boy, naturally curious as any other boy, asked: “How does God smile?” The father seeing a rainbow cast across the horizon said, “that is God’s smile”. The boy gleefully replied, “Ooh it’s colorful!” Truly, God’s smiles are colorful—fit for any thing, any time, any one, any mood, any countenance. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet–the colors of God’s smile! (Wait, what color is indigo?)^^
