“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word about Christ.” – Romans 10:17
As followers of Jesus Christ, faith is trusting everything to Him, even our unknown future. We might not know how our future will be fulfilled but we must believe that God will fulfill it in full and for our own good.
Today, we received again the news from our Human Resources Department that another batch of employees have received the non-renewal of their contracts. Now everyone from our department starts to ask who might be the next and what are their criteria of selecting. Everyone seems anxious and worried of what might happen on the succeeding days. Other thoughts run on what awaits us when we all comeback from our annual leaves. But as for me, I just entrust everything to God because faith is beyond any reason, and it should be present even before we get the results we desire. We must always remember that our God is bigger than any of the problems, trials or our current situations. And He knows our needs even before we ever speak of it.
Prayer:
Father God, we thank you for your faithfulness. Even though we tend to always complain of our situation, You never get tired to amaze us with your goodness in our daily life. I pray that we learn to trust everything to You even amidst our trials. May we learn to believe that You are our great God who is bigger than any problems or fears we might have. We give thanks and we love you Lord. We entrust everything to You. In Jesus name, Amen.
