“Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. (v.2)
For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. (v.4)” – Romans 15:2,4 NIV
The Word of God is powerful. As Paul says in this passage, the “Scriptures provide us hope and encouragement as we earnestly wait for God’s promises to be fulfilled.” The Scripture can truly lift spirits and point people to God’s ways.
I fully believe that the power of God’s Word has encouraged me and moved me to do things or tasks I never thought I could do. As I read the passage, I realized there are simple ways to share the Scripture, whether through texting or directly messaging others and posting it on social media. I am encouraged by other believers who do the same.
Loving Father, thank You for Your Word that gives encouragement, wisdom and hope. Help me each day to dig into Your Word and share it with others, to plant seeds of wisdom and inspiration. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
