“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will never pass away.” (Matthew 24:35 NIV)
My thoughts and reflection on this verse are that truly nothing in this world will last. Seeing what is happening in the world right now is uncertain. God is encouraging us to meditate on His Word day and night, memorize them, and live with them. Because His Words are true and trustworthy. As Christians, we need to read and study His Word. One way is having our daily devotion for us to know God’s Word, His teachings, promises, and warnings.
Loving Father and eternal God, I pray that You will give me the wisdom to discern what is truly lasting. Bless me in ways that will help me live a true life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
