“Let all that you do be done in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:14 ESV)
This verse reflects the profoundness of love. It demonstrates how love plays a vital role in our words, actions, and relationships. This is indeed very powerful and moving.
My family was inadequate in so many things and growing up wasn’t easy. We have a lot of family and situational issues. I worked as a helper in a nearby restaurant at a young age. During weekends, I would do some chores to earn 20 pesos, which would serve as my “baon” for the whole week. My journey was significantly and vividly memorable. As I look back, I have no regrets. I have learned to rely on God, focus more on important things, persevere, and be motivated with sincere love and boundless kindness.
One of the most important lessons I have learned thus far is to share God’s Word and His provision, especially to my family. Seeking God encourages me to stay rooted in the truth, and everything we do should be done with love and joy in our hearts.
Whenever we approach a situation or converse with someone, the intention should be pure and with love. Love is a crucial act of every believer. Whatever we do or say, others will see it. People may discount your words based on your actions. I thank God for leading me to where I am today. I carry in my heart the most profound gratitude for what He has led me to be.
Father God, guide us to obey Your commands. Help us love one another sincerely and intentionally in the same way You do for us. Strengthen our faith to do everything in love and expect nothing in return. Let Your infinite love mold us to be better Christians. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
