“O LORD, You have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You discern my thoughts from afar. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.” – Psalm 139:1-2, 6 ESV
As I am meditating on these passage from Psalms, I could feel the loving embrace of the Lord. There are times when I feel like I am alone in my struggles, that I could not connect with anyone, not even with my husband, that I am not being understood. As I let the Holy Spirit leads, this is what the Lord has spoken to me:
My Child,
It was my plan for you to be born in this world. I have specifically chosen your parents, your siblings, your husband, and even your child. You are custom-made according to what I intend you to be. I love you and I know you from head to toe, inside and out.
Why are you sad? Do not be lonely, my child. I know your struggles and worries. I understand your fears and insecurities. I know your deepest needs and your desires. I laugh with you, and I cry with you. Never have I missed a single event in your life.
Be still, my child. Remember how I have offered my life, so you won’t ever die? You are precious and loved! Always and forever.
