“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made to known.” – Philippians 4:6
This is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. It gives me a good reminder that prayer is just a whisper away at His feet. We are urged not to worry about anything but to pray confidently about everything. Laying our petitions humbly at His feet and thanking Him for all He has done for us.
There is nothing too great and nothing too small that cannot be given to the Lord. There is no area in our lives in which we cannot come boldly to the throne of grace.
True enough, God alone is more than sufficient in all our needs. Paano na lang kapag wala ang Lord sa buhay natin? That’s why we must maintain a grateful heart, full of thanksgiving and praises for all His goodness. Kaya nga, when we pray and have communion with God, we discover His peace that passes understanding, guarding our heart and mind, as we abide in Christ and He in us!
I thank God, I got the result of my NIPT test of my baby. At first, our worry is due to my age. But I thank God because He teaches us to kneel in prayer and ask for His grace and mercy. Indeed, He never fails us! We got a negative result for Down syndrome and predicted the gender as a boy.
Dear Lord our God, thank you that You know all things and that You know everything about us. You hold us in your hands, and our future is secure in You. Keep us from anxious thoughts and help us to focus our minds on You Alone. May we fully depend on You in all things, not only today but in the days that lie ahead. Maraming Salamat po Panginoon! Amen and Amen!
