“Anyone can find the dirt in someone, but we should strive to be the one who finds the gold” (Proverbs 11:27)
As I read this verse, I realize na mahirap talagang maging isang tunay na Kristiyano sa gawa. Most of the time, it’s easy for us to focus sa mga negative na nakikita natin sa kapwa natin and point out their flaws to make ourselves feel like we are better than them. That is why I really praise and thank the Lord for always reminding me to have a humble heart at all times. Whenever I encounter difficult people, I choose to just pray for them and try to understand their behavior. Sometimes hindi natin alam kaya pala ganon kasi may matinding pagsubok na silang pinagdadaanan.
We are also being reminded of those who are close to our hearts. If we know na something is not right, we also need to have the courage to rebuke them with love. But we need to examine ourselves if we are doing the right thing or the right attitude that is pleasing to God’s eyes.
We have to have a better outlook on life. Talking positively about people behind their back instead of negatively will create an impact. We need to be good examples to others and make them wonder why we are different. Let Jesus shine through us!
