Every day in our lives, we face a lot of challenges. We can’t avoid it, especially for me as a new mother. I struggled a lot taking care of my baby. I worry most of the time. Every night I pray, “Lord, until when will I be here in Oman? Can we still manage to be here in Oman without any help with our baby? To whom can we ask a favor when we are on duty?” These are just some things I always think about.
But these messages of God remind me again of who God is. He is our fortress and stronghold. Our dependable God to whom we can always trust. It’s hard not to worry about all the things surrounding us, but it also humbles me that I can’t do anything without Him. Indeed, He is always there to hear us and to help us.
Today I declare unto the Lord that He is my refuge. My safe place. My secure foundation. My strong tower. My stability. And I choose to trust Him.
Prayer
Father in heaven, thank you once again that you are our Lord. Our refuge, our secure foundation, our stability. With everything happening around us, You give us peace and hope. May you continue to provide us with the strength to face our daily battle. And to you, Oh God, we truly trust. Amen
