“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” (Jeremiah 29:11-12)
The scripture says, “Everything serves His plan.” Not just the good breaks and promotions, but also the disappointments, the closed doors, and the people that do you wrong are serving His plan. Without that happening, you couldn’t reach your destiny. You must trust the process. God’s ways are not our ways.
Sometimes we are more focused on the bad breaks or the person who left us out – the setback as negative. But the truth is, they are all necessary for us to become who we were created to be.
This verse is one of my life-pocket verses as sometimes, or most of the time, frustration, anxiety, and disappointments come especially when I could not get the things I wanted to achieve. But I’m so grateful to the Lord that He is there to remind me that I should place my complete trust in Him and see the good things in everything!
So, whenever I feel down and on the verge of giving up, God reminds me that I have a purpose and amazing destiny and promise of a good future. To God be the glory and honor! Praise be to Jesus!
Father God, thank You for always being there for me, and for giving me hope and victory in all I do. Forgive me for being a doubtful and impatient person. Help me to trust the process and give it all to You because You know what is best for Your children. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of salvation and eternal life. To you, I give back all the glory and praises. In Jesus’ mighty name.
Amen.
