“And this is my prayer that you love may abound more and more in the knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ. Filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise.” – Philippians 1:9-11
As I am reminiscing the struggles to finish my education, I remember that self-determination, prayers, and faith kept me going to help my family.
The process was not easy, but I made it by acknowledging that the ability and knowledge came from Christ Jesus.
The knowledge I have of the Bible may not be as richly complete as the others but I am sure that whatever insight I have gathered from the words of God in the Scriptures are worthy if I utilize it for God’s glory, thereby allowing me and the others to grow further and become spiritually fruitful.
In addition, as days pass by, I believe that the Holy Spirit reveals in my heart the passion and love for godly wisdom. I am always guided by His power, compelling me to grow deeply and seek His kingdom first, and the rest will follow according to His plan and purpose. “Many are the plan in a person’s heart, but God’s purpose shall always prevail.” Proverbs 19:21
His Word truly converted me towards righteousness, keeping my soul constantly hydrated by the rich flowing water of His words. Indeed, it makes me desire more of His holiness until Jesus Christ comes.
Prayer:
Dear God, may you always be the light that shines in my heart, be with me in all my trials and endeavors. Holy Spirit, lead me to wherever You want me to be. Bless my whole being, loved ones, and all the people you created. All of these, I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
