God Looks for Clay

“O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!” (Jeremiah 18:6)

Often I think of my weaknesses, the things I can and cannot do for Him. But most of the time, I limit myself in serving God. God is not limited to working with our strengths and weaknesses. Allow God to shape you, to be an instrument that He requires you to do His divine works. Why not be a clay, moldable, pliable, totally submissive to the will of the Master? If I had the tendency to tell my Father, what I can do and cannot do for Him, I will submit to His agenda and allow Him to mold me into the person He wants me to be, like clay.
