“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” – Psalm 53:3
During the start of covid, I feared for the safety of our children. Especially our eldest daughter, kasi dumami kaagad ang kanilang covid+ patients. Tapos sa dating ward niya, kahit ginawang covid ward hindi sila naka full PPE kasi kulang ang supply ng PPE sa hospital nila. Kaya last year, my daughter decided to apply sa ICU ward kasi naka full PPE sila doon. Aside from that, tatlo sa housemates niya nag COVID-19 positive. Iniisip ko na paano pag mahawaan sila, sino mag-aasikaso sa kanila? I prayed and prayed for their safety. During those times, I would remind myself of this verse that when I am afraid, I will put my trust in the Lord always. I trust that He loves and cares for us. This verse was a great reminder because it gave me comfort and peace of mind.
