Every day marks a brand-new strength, new challenges, and new mindset. Realistically, it will never be the same as yesterday. Each day will have a new meaning and a new lesson to learn. Normally, if I will be on day duty or if I’m off from hospital duties, I would set my two alarm clocks at two different timings, in two separate places. Magkahiwalay. Magkaiba. So that it will awaken me both physically and mentally and get ready to prepare for my daily activities. Starting my day with clear thoughts is crucial for it leads to concrete actions. One good example is having “conversations” with the Lord for it creates a very conducive and pleasant mode in my everyday tasks. Engaging in positive and divine thoughts is essential even if we are surrounded by lots of negativity and uncertainties.
Father God, help us to religiously remember Your beautiful Words and put them into action. Remove any forms of unnecessary grumblings or discontentment. Help us, Lord, to appreciate and focus on the things that bring so much joy and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
