“Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” – Proverbs 16:3 NLT
My first job in Manila was in a hospital. For the first 15 days, office hours ang schedule as a trainee. After that, mag-start na as probationary with shifting schedules.
Lo and behold! Sunday was given as my first duty. After lunch of the same day, pumunta ako ng Human Resources Department at nag-resign.
My other family members were confused, saying and asking, “Bakit?” “Sayang naman!” Even my Christian aunt wasn’t happy with my decision.
At present, I’m glad I did that. My life and career will be on a different path if I decided to stay in that hospital. I miss that kind of passion, dedication, and trust sa pwedeng gawin
ng Diyos sa life natin as long as we commit everything to Him. But then this verse reminded me again, God knows my needs, He is in control. I just need to trust Him and commit everything to Him.
