“After He had dismissed them, He went up on a mountainside by Himself to pray. Later that night, He was there alone.” – Mathew 14:23
Motherhood is not an easy task as demands can sometimes be overwhelming – late-night feeds, diaper changes, and cries. As a new mom, it requires grace, patience, and faith in the Lord.
Keeping up with prayer time and reading the Bible is challenging. It is comforting knowing that even Jesus, needed time in isolation. Jesus knew that the busyness of life can be demanding. People always wanted to be with Him. The needs of the people were endless. In all the giving, it can be draining. He chose to have a quiet time with His Father, to be strengthened by His Father.
Father God, give me the power to choose to have time with You today and every day. Refresh me and renew my strength today. Fill me so that I can pour it out to my family. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
