A Life With My family Journey By Faith

“By faith, Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born because they saw he was no ordinary child and were not afraid of the king’s edict.” – Hebrew 11:23

Through the years my life journey has changed drastically. I had to say this because my life was controlled by my own will when I was not a born-again Christian. I planned to finish my studies, take a job, and eventually set a happy family.

Now that I have my own family, I realize being a parent has a never-ending responsibility; trying to provide the best for our kids is sometimes overwhelming.

Time had gone by, and I noticed that my kids were growing quickly in their vulnerable teenage years. I understand that they had their characteristics and ability to share, so I dealt with them differently.

Sometimes I tend to overpower and impose my rules on them which I think is familiar to us parents; God vested us to teach and guide them so that they will not go astray.

I am truly grateful now that I am a born-again Christian; I would say that my life journey with my family has sailed smoothly as I let GOD be the captain of my ship. I had many instances when I had doubts and challenges, yet He never failed to reveal His plan for my family.

“That your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but the power of GOD.” 1Cor 2:5

Prayer:

Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity of being a parent that will lead the way to Your kingdom. Bless me with Your wisdom so that I can share it as well with those who have gone astray. All these I pray in the mighty name of Jesus. AMEN.
