We had COVID-19!

It was in the first week of July when we tested positive with COVID-19.  It was one of the toughest phases of our lives – as an individual, a couple, and a family. We were very careful, and we refused all invitations to gatherings. But then, if God allows it to happen to show His glory, it will happen.

It tested our faith. He allowed it to happen to us. Yet God never failed to reassure us of His faithfulness, and He also provided everything we needed. He provided a Spiritual Family, who strengthened us with their prayers. God has given us our friends, who provided for our physical needs. He sent people who helped us and assisted us all through the process of our sickness.  Most of all, He has given us His Word to strengthen us emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. During those two weeks of battling this virus, God is the only strength of our hearts, the joy that enables us to keep going. His grace is sufficient every day. He is a faithful God, true to His promises, a great provider!

God healed us! How powerful You are, Oh Lord! God used the medicines and all the interventions we have done to heal us! He stirred us a bit when it seemed like it was not working especially with my husband, but we surrendered everything to the Lord. We were helpless. Yes, we felt helpless, but we were never hopeless because our God will rescue us and will walk us out from our situation, and He did! Praise His Name!

My husband and I celebrated another year of our lives in the same month (July 28 and 29), and we are full of gratitude to the ONE TRUE GOD who is all-powerful and mighty! To Him all the glory and praises!

Life is nothing but a mist! Having a personal relationship with Jesus will change how we perceive our situations in life. Are you scared to die? If you are going to die now, are you confident to say that you will be with God? Accept Jesus in your heart. Believe that you are bound to have an eternal death because of your sins, but Jesus died in your place so you could have eternal life.

Amen!

  1. Somehow, this experience forged you better as a family. You stood the test of a worrisome ailment of which nobody knows how far it can go. And in between these moments, God has shown His steadfast love, mercy and care. To God Be The Glory in this experience and thanksgiving, Geron family. Our Lord, thru all times of all circumstances, is present…is faithful. It encourages us to remain anchored to Him in this continuing pandemic.
