Yesterday was the first part of the church leaders’ retreat. It was a very engaging and soul-satisfying opportunity for all the OECC church leaders. As the year 2021 comes to an end, let us take time to remember and give honor to our hardworking and loving church leaders. Admittedly, the coming of the COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenging year for our OECC leaders and leaders around the world. Yet our leaders continue to deliver God’s message and selflessly serve us. That is why I have so much respect and admiration for our spiritual leaders, past or current leaders. Praise God po sa buhay ninyo!
Please allow me to mention the names of the Siruno and Gabor families, who initiated in encouraging me, inspiring me, guiding me, and supporting my spiritual walk with the Lord. I will not be in the community of believers if God didn’t use nurturing and honorable people like them.
At that time, honestly, they were the only “Bible” I read. It matters how we carry ourselves as committed church leaders in Christ because we influence others. Our spiritual walking is our preaching.
