“But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honours because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.” – Hebrews 2:9

It is not my habit to go to our pantry in the office to prepare a cup of coffee in the morning. However, yesterday, it was necessary for me to go to the pantry with my colleagues to give them the simple breakfast that I brought. As I prepared my own mix of 3-in-1 coffee, one of the people gathered in the room asked us a question: “What do you celebrate on Christmas?”

While we remember Christ’s birth on Christmas, the fulfilment of God’s promise, the above verse tells us that Jesus was born to die for us who believed to have eternal life. May we always remember this truth in our daily lives, praising God for His sacrifice and willingness to humble Himself to save you and I. May it also be our prayer that God would give us opportunities to communicate the Gospel to people around us. Is there someone that God is telling you to share the Gospel to recently? Pray for His divine appointment and His prior working in the heart of that person.
