1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, “Do you know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you. Whom you have received from God. You are not your own, you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
Our body is God’s temple. God lives in us. What we do with our bodies is part of our worship of God. Kaya nga po kapag tayo ay nakakagawa ng hindi kalugod-lugod sa Panginoon or we let our sinful desire, sinful act, sinful life to dwell in, the Holy Spirit grieves. We are called to glorify God with our bodies. We use our bodies to serve God for His kingdom. We are bought at a price by the blood of Jesus Christ. It has always been God’s plan. We should honor the sacrifice He made for us. This is a reminder of how precious we are. Let us make sure we respond by living a holy life.
