“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations 3:22-23
Last week, I was so exhausted because of the continuous duty, and the ward was overflowing with sick patients. In addition, some colleagues were difficult to deal with. I kept on complaining and sometimes I just want to quit and resign. But God reminded me through this verse that every day is a new beginning, whatever disappointment and struggles life may bring.
The Lord is faithful even sometimes we’re not. We should have a heart full of gratitude so that the joy will overflow in us.
Thank You, Father, for all You’ve been doing for me. I’m undeserving of Your love yet You still bless me and show me mercy. I thank You for this life even though it isn’t perfect. You’ve promised me a better one. I thank You for providing me with the things I need even before I know I need them. Thank You for sending Jesus Christ to redeem us. Amen.
