“We love because he first loved us”- 1 John 4:19
It has been two years and the pandemic is not over yet. Many are still experiencing hardship, sadness due to unemployment, illness, loss of loved ones and all other effects of the pandemic. I am wondering, how are they now, especially those who I’ve known? I usually say, I love God, but do I share His love? There are people who need prayer and understanding, there are people who need financial help, there are people who just need someone to listen to them and there are people who are just waiting to be visited so that they can feel that someone love and care for them. How can I make them feel God’s love? If I love God, I have the ability to love my neighbours as well. The love that comes from Him through the Holy Spirit helps me to do His will. I have received His unconditional love through His Son, Jesus Christ as an atoning sacrifice for my sins and His love is made complete in me, and therefore, I am able to love others and make them feel the love of Christ through me. I pray that the Lord God will use me every day as a channel of His love especially to those who are experiencing despair.
